Witness documents, testify in court, choose a guardian, serve as apprentice,
show land to processioners, be punished for a crime, sign contracts, act
as executor, bequeath property, marry: Males-14, Females-12

Muster into militia: Males only-16

Take possession of land holdings: 16 "In possession of" on tax rolls signifies
that the person is at least 16 years old.

Release of guardian: Male-21, Female-18

Own land: 21 (some states allowed females to own land at 18)

Devise land by will, be taxed, plead or sue in court, be natualized, fill
public office, serve on jury, vote: Age 21
